Meet Bartlomiej Wojciechowski, aka Bartek or Tek, the head mechanic and Business Partner at Bikeworks Repair Shop. Originally from Poland, Bartek’s journey from competitive mountain biker to bike industry enthusiast has been remarkable.
During his active years in Poland, Bartek achieved impressive accolades, ranking amongst the top 10 in national championships in MTB freestyle. He made a name for himself as the first person to successfully execute a 540 on a full-size mountain bike, and he played a pioneering role in creating and sharing bike videos online.
With an innate curiosity and a drive to stay ahead of the curve, Bartek has always been an early adopter, embracing new technologies and trends in the bicycle industry. From his early days in the 90s on a mountain bike to his ventures into e-bike conversions and electronic shifting, he firmly believes that the bike industry is continually evolving, and it is vital for mechanics to stay at the forefront of these advancements.
